New Ketubah just launched with a fresh site and some beautiful and cool new offerings.
I love Tsilli’s work–she brings a modern aesthetic to her ketubah designs but with some classy handmade elements, like stitching, polaroids or unique personalization. This design, In the Stars, is my favorite from the Classic Collection, but you should definitely explore the others. Not to mention, Tsilli is an awesome lady all around and runs Portland, Oregon’s Creative Mornings chapter.
I spent a day at Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ (an hour’s ride from Penn Station) this past weekend. Such an exciting discovery! I really enjoyed it.
It was founded in 1992 by American artist, John Seward Johnson II on the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds site. His work is prominent throughout, but there’s also a wide variety of artists with work exhibited. Wandering through the gardens is a thrill as you stumble upon sculptures in little nooks and clearings. The gardens are beautiful as well — the trees there are worth visiting in and of themselves.
Had an impossible time choosing which photos to post. So yeah, I posted a-million.
We got a taste of summer in the air this week. I feel like this is the song that started playing in the city’s head. Herr Styler‘s “Zero Ghosts Out The Door.” Fun sound. Warm fresh breeze.
The Green Vase, a floral studio and styling business based in Riverdale, NY, also offers beautiful handmade paper flowers from their online shop. Items range from single flowers for $38 to custom bouquets for $300.
