It was developed by Miyake’s in-house research team, RealityLab, who worked with a computer scientist to develop an algorithm for these pieces. Please don’t make me explain much further — but aren’t you impressed already? The designs all fold up like origami, are heat-pressed and then expand into beautiful apparel designed for comfort as well as artistic value.
