I cut these carefully out of a recent New York Times Magazine, like a schoolgirl cuts out photos of her favorite pop star to hang on the wall. I’m in love.

Mitch Epstein‘s portrait-like photographs of epic trees in New York City are so beautiful. The rest of the city shrinks around it and the greatness of the tree is made apparent. View the slideshow on the NY Times site for a larger view. Reminds me to: notice more.
