Here are some photos of the new book I picked up at Portland’s Monograph Bookwerks shop, ABC of Lettering by Carl Holmes, that I mentioned in a post last week. Such a unique format and it’s packed with inspiring artwork. It was published by Walter T. Foster in the 1950′s. And yup, for only $1!
I have this same publication. It’s beautiful. I wish I could find out more information about it, like how old it is.
