Karen O’Leary took a blade to these large sheets of paper to create “Map Cuts” of New York and Paris. Oh yes she did! Incredible work born from a painstakingly detailed process.

    That is incredible!! I don’t know why you would do that even for the sake of art, but it looks awesome. Kind of stresses me out to think about trying to do that myself…insane.

    If they are cut from a bought map, then are these designs reversed – hence no street names on them. Just curious as to how they were made?
